What is the difference between character count with and without spaces?
Character count with spaces includes all whitespace characters — spaces, line breaks, and tabs. Character count without spaces counts only non-whitespace characters, reflecting the actual content length. How is byte size calculated?
Byte size is calculated based on UTF-8 encoding: Korean characters count as 3 bytes, English letters and numbers as 1 byte, and emoji as 4 bytes. This is especially useful when checking database column size limits or API request payload sizes.
What is the maximum input length?
